DanceRites 2026
Boonwurrung Ngargee Dance Group have been accepted to dance at Australia's largest First Nations Dance Competition on Gadigal lands, Sydney, October 2026.
We are crowdfunding to head to Sydney Oprah House for Dance Rites 26! Here's a little update....

Dance is a powerful tool for social change, cultural identity and health and wellbeing.
The young women in the Boonwurrung Ngargee have been dedicated to learning cultural stories, songs and dances and sharing their cultural and creative expression across the Kulin Nation lands.
DanceRites is the first opportunity for the group to travel interstate and connect with other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance groups.
All donations via the Australian Culture Fund are tax deductable.
Please include your name and email address so we can invite you to a special gathering October 4th, to share the dances we will be taking to DanceRites.
