Are you a young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who likes to dance?

Join us for a weekend of workshops to connect with other young First Nations dance lovers and develop dance and movement skills and learn dances for the opportunity to dance at the Closing Ceremony for St Kilda Festival Saturday 17th December 2024.

Led by Thara Brown from Wala Connections with  guest dance teachers. 

The weekend will give you an opportunity to develop your skills, connect with other young First Nations womens, experienced dancers, and storytellers.

The two days will consists of two workshops and lunch provided, 10am - 12pm, lunch and 1pm - 3pm.

We encourage all participants to attend the full two days to maximise the benefits, however understand if you can only make some of the time.

All we ask is for positive attitudes and willingness to move and learn.

Please bring comfortbale clothing and water bottles.
